NYA Ride Itinerary 2024

FRIDAY ARRIVAL, May 24th

Dodie will be on trail or in camp.  If you are in on Friday, and can find her (chuckle), she will do your ride check in.

SATURDAY ARRIVAL, May 25th. 

CHECK IN WITH THE CAMPGROUND AS YOU ENTER. IF YOU HAVE NOT PREPAID YOUR CAMPING FEE, HAVE THE EXACT CASH OR CHECK READY AT THE TIME YOU ARRIVE.  THEY WILL DIRECT YOU TO YOUR PARKING SPACE FOR THE WEEKEND.  PLEASE REVIEW THE CAMPGROUND RULES AND FOLLOW THEM. 

10:00 AM: Ride Check-in is open from 10 am until dark. Please bring your coggins and rabies papers for horses and other pets to registration. NO CHECK-IN OR VETTING ON SUNDAY!!!  All riders must be finished checking and vetting by dark on Saturday.

2:00 pm: Vetting is open and we will vet until dark.

3:00 pm: Please bring your covered dish to share and get a meal ticket. If you will not have a dish to share, you can purchase a meal ticket for $5.

6:00 pm: Share-A-Dish meal.

6:30 pm: Ride meeting, followed by a new rider meeting *** NEW RIDERS *** if you are a new rider, please tell us at time of check in and we will discuss any questions you may have.

10:00 pm: All generators off for the evening

SUNDAY RIDE, May 23th:   Farrier on call Saturday and will be at the ride during the day on Sunday JEFF WALKER 315-794-9400 – must pay farrier at time of service.

5:30 am – 75 milers out

6:00 am – 50 milers out and 30/50 mile Ride-N-Tie out

7:00 am – 30 milers out and 12 mile Ride-N-Tie out

12:00 pm: lunch items (sandwiches and chips) will be available for riders and volunteers, served until it is all gone. You must have a rider meal ticket

2:15 pm – all 30 milers finish.

4:00 pm – 30 mile awards/vet cards

6:00 pm – all 50 milers finish.

7:00 pm – 50 mile awards/vet cards

10:00 pm – all generators off.

11:30 pm – 75 mile riders finish.  Awards 30 minutes after last rider vetted.
