The Infamous Dodie Sable

So, New Promise Farms is gone forever, but Dodie Sable will never die (chuckle).  Okay, after someone reads this, I’m sure to find myself the victim of a mad stalker out to prove me wrong.  But in all fairness, I had to let everyone know that I am still involved with horses, still ready to rock-n-roll at the Endurance Competitions and I fully expect people to follow my stories in 2012.

And if everything works as planned, I hope to compete my first 100 mile in 2013.  Stay tuned!

Patiently waiting my turn for vet check

Some changes are for the best.  I miss getting up at 4:00 am to feed 40 horses.  I miss working with the misbehaving horse and sending home a great companion.  I miss having the people around me all the time asking a million and one questions.  Maybe this change isn’t what I excepted, but I have accepted it.  When I win the lotto, I will buy a large property, build a large barn and start all over.  In the meantime, I am still standing one stallion and will be having one foal each year.  I will be happy with that (for now!)
