Barooga was getting a lump on his back after Marshall rode him. He has a Circle Y ,leather and synthetic endurance saddle, inexpensive and he likes it.. I found a fold of material under the fake fleece lining of the skirting. So, I corrected that and added more padding under the rear of the tree. I also padded , with fleece, the ends of all his saddle pads.Lump went away. I have also explored the under side of many saddles and found where nails and screws weren't all the way into the tree. At the end fo the season in 2008 she had quit fighting me and was all business at the beginning of a ride. This is just going to take me some time to get her back into the right frame of mind.
